After shooting and first edit
We got all the shots we wanted and needed from Edale, the weather let us down a little but there is nothing we could have done. But worked around it and used it for our advantage.
We edited our rough cut, and didn't get a good reception from it. We needed to do a lot of work on it, we needed to decide if we were to use the narrative, if we wanted to make an experimental short, type of documentary or what we wanted to do. I think using a narrative will be the best idea as it can incorporate both ideas and make something very different.

Storyboard for Edale
This is a rough storyboard of the narrative for our Edale shoot. It shows our ideas for shot types and our angles we will be using in our shot.
Edale ideas
1. Experimental documentary piece, lots of point of views, lots of close ups and still shots. Using a lot of focus and editing to make a point of the experimental ideas. Fading in and out of focus slowly, sometimes quickly.
2. Narrative, lone person showing isolation in a new place. Handheld camera, slow paced shots, long shots used to show loneliness. Blurred focus, a lot of one shots and added in long slow editing.
I personally like the idea of mixing the two ideas together, lets see what happens...
